We have reduced the number of Monster Champions that spawn, and also reduced the overall damage boost Champions get. The numbers are now:

I do realise you only have one (not very sharp) tool in your arsenal as a provocateur from your previous posts, and I hate to burst your bubble but I don't recall having ventured an opinion on whether Champions are too strong (or conversely too weak) for me.  I don't think they are/were working as intended though as some examples people were giving showed there were obvious flaws with the implementation.
So I am neither whinging nor gloating sorry.
I am however interested to hear other viewpoints and to observe how Turdbine handle this.

All I have suggested is to put the ePeen aside and provide some lucid commentary like Aeolwind and RV above, and Vaulties might take you seriously. 
In this page, both provide dissenting views, but neither feels the need to  denigrate the other's arguments.  Amazing what mature debate can yield.

It is possible to respect both arguments.  This is how compromises might be achieved and how instead of alienating a majority of the playerbase, they might find a way to keep the majority happy.
Turdbine will never please everyone as some views are too extreme to be palatable to anyone, but it will be interesting to see how they handle it.

champignons are no less than just a new little annoyance in the game. what's their fucking point? did they introduce them cuz some twat on the MB where whining ddo was too easy again? super pointless move and tbh some mobs just look ridiculosly stupid with their little crown.

There is a good argument for making the game harder, but Champions was the dumbest possible way to do so.  EE mobs should have gotten an across the board buff if EE had become too easy for the the devs envisioned it to be.  Or maybe just maybe release some higher level content and not more level 24 stuff? 

And for fuck's sake give us and end game sometime in 2015.

Mobs have been retarded ever since I started playing DDO, I don't think that would be an option.

As for traps, the problem is not how deadly they are, after the first 10 runs or so, they're no problem anymore. Some randomization here would do the trick.

ad AI, i dont tell its possible (doing good game ai is pretty hard), but it could make game harder.


on epics traps are just joke - on heroic elite they can kill u in blink. they were seriously nerfed - pre MotU people want rogue for ELoD trapped stairway - now meh, maybe for trap bonus

Go for that "Mythic" difficulty, give us that setting above EE that gives NO XP, but add something to it so there is a reason to be at cap and stay at cap.  Give us an actual end-game and challenge us there.  Put the sentient weapons/items there and allow the GEAR to get XP, not the players.

And for fuck's sake no random shit please, Feather ruined "random" for all time.

On heroic they can only scratch you if you have like 100 prr and mrr.
