Challenge me at the end-game, challenge me in raids.  Challenge me at cap.  We got 13:30 on an EE MOD last week, it was awesome.   Getting that under 10 minutes is a good challenge for my group of mooks.

Turbine's old epics were a good system - challenge people who are capped with a loot pursuit. 

Go for that "Mythic" difficulty, give us that setting above EE that gives NO XP, but add something to it so there is a reason to be at cap and stay at cap.  Give us an actual end-game and challenge us there.  Put the sentient weapons/items there and allow the GEAR to get XP, not the players.

And for fuck's sake no random shit please, Feather ruined "random" for all time.


Yup, Add the underlevel challenge... How low can you be and still complete quests... ( add an incentive for people to challenge quests that way )
Come on there's lots of possibility to make the game fucking challenging while having fun and without using retarded inflated hitpoint meatballs.

Please no more random shit. DDO+random=lag. Just think about all the quest that are semi random. They all lag. Champions should've been just that... champions. The last time I was excited in this game was when I ran into that bitch in thunderholme. She hit me once and I said OH FUCK and ran my ass out of there. Now  if champions where like her that would be cool. Just imagine seeing her spawn in the middle of a mob instead of what we have now.

Yeah, this is the kinda stuff they need to fix - that is not WAI, but it sounds like they can't because it is a global setting.

If you think about a party of six and the dps output of a bunch of TRs... doesn't seem that far off reasonable to me, for a "champion". But yes, HP inflation is the lazy dev's way to increase what they get paid to think is the challenge.

This is so f'vkd up.  For a few YEARS turbine hasn't been bothering to even advertise and try to draw in new players.  Now they are advertising, and getting new players into Korthos.  Way to welcome in and retain the new player base turbine.  Good job as usual.

yeah even though I personally liked the challenge, it was kind of a stupid play.

If they wanted to increase the challenge in this game all they had to do was absolutely nothing with all the current shit, and just make some new shit that had the same difficulty selectors, just make them actually mean what they fucking say. Some quests are harder than others, all they really need to do is just give us some fucking hard quests. They don't have to ramp the difficulty up on Haverdasher, who fucking cares about that shit. But some new, actually fucking hard quests is all the dipshits have to fucking give us.

If they created one tough as nails quest chain with 4 or 5 quests and some uber shit at the end, we would run the shit out of that. Just fucking one. we don't need to change the difficulty on %90 of the quests in this game. Fuck if you only put the champions out in shavarath nobody would have fucking noticed. At level that shit is till fucking hard, you don't fucking see these crybabies out there ever. Unless its in a pack or a level 28.

And if they made it F2P thier could be no cry-babying about it being too hard, well its free bub is all they would have to say.

within a game that has so many variables, the champions will make alot  of EE puggers shit their pants. all in all they should make 3 different types of champions for each difficulty so the fucking whiners on mothershitforums can have their cake, eat it too, then walk away and say "fuck cake, its for losers.
  

A good portion of you are whining on the internet, to people that can't change anything, about a game you dont play.

Champions were a great idea bad implemented like everything Turdbine does.

I'm ok making the game harder, for some quests the champions were just fine but for others they are a fucking nightmare.

Like the golems in fleshmaker, the fucking mobs doublestrike all the time. Even with PRR, dodge and displace 1 hitted me for 500 damage each hit. This is like the fucking green dragon in well.

champion non-orange-trash-mob flesh golems hitting me for over 1500.

with 150 PRR and 180%+ fort.

and the 1500 I saw wasnt a crit.

And they do 1500 damage because it's 500 normal damage + 1k moronic damage.

What's the point to have PRR if all the fucking mobs do more damage that bypass the PRR?

Strongs only! These make EE fun again! You must be gimp. Stop whining about not getting a participation trophy for EE. This shit is not turdbinedly broken. You're just not as uberawesomeelite as some of us. There's a casual difficulty for you to run. I haven't seen that much damage from these random buffs in the 2 dungeons I ran, so you must be lying.

You're right, TR train party would probably steamroll, but I think that Champ was a solo.  What would it have with party scaling?

But I used to run all those quests on my mules on Elite for Coin Lord favor (and some XP).
Note sure my 1st level mule on a FTP account is going to handle a 650HP, magic missile spamming mob....
I know I'm not uber, but that is a big ask.   Grin

Will have to run it on a higher level toon in party and just go for favor.

first, i m not telling thats right - 650hp mob in heytons definitely is not.

but theres also no reason go there on 1st lvl toon, esp if it s brand new or nontwink

i maybe never done korthos elites before i cleared harbor solo ones and waterwork wilderness, starting korthos at lvl 2 or even 3

but well heroic champs are off - i was in elite weapon shipment twice yesterday, and each time i had restart, cause at first spawn of mobs, i got hit by couple seconds lag and barbed devil champ oneshoted that damn mage:)

As far as I'm concerned, the champions event closed early, with the nerf. And without the easy dupe, I've got no reason to collect seals/shards. That gear is garbage. No earthly way I'm gonna grind that much just to get 1 or 2 thirds of an upgrade.

I'm fuckin' bored. Maybe I'll play again when Turbine rebreaks another feature.
