This is the player age distribution in EVE Online.
I wonder how it would look like for DDO.

I think we also have a couple of people in DDO somewhere near that.

Kinda makes sense, really. Once you've joined the elderly club, the older you get, the less mobile you get and the more free time you have.
Arguably a good time to start a coke habit too.

Yeah it should be that way but real life seems to have a bug somewhere in the process of getting older...
Because MOST of the people I know in that age (65+) seem to have less time than the working population and seem to be more busy.

TBH I'm rather expecting that in the not too distant future old folks homes will advertise about high speed internet connections, lan-parties every Thursday night, and how "Grandpa won't mind being put out to pasture when it's a virtual pasture with orcs to slay and maidens to save."

Wouldn't that be the free time they've filled in with activities or something?

Mostly with going to doctor appointments and sitting on hold with Medicaid to argue about their coverage and high prescription costs.
Also, it takes them 30 minutes to use an ATM or a pay at the pump gas station.

Confirmed. We have a few in our guild. Youngest guildie was 7 before he turned inactive about a year ago.

This all suggests that starting a coke habit as an elderly person might be a great idea:
- No need to go to the doctors, you already know they'll just tell you to stop snorting
- No need to argue with Medicaid for the same reason
- Bank account will be cleaned out in short order = no more ATM trips
