invalid placement?

So I was trying to reuse my epic Otto stone today, as I have done many times before (so I am sure I know ho to do it), and got some weird error messages.

First, when i tried to move it from my character bank into my inventory, it said "invalid placement" and would not move the stone. So I had to put it in shared bank then move it to inventory.

When I Dced and used the stone, using the use-destroy-switchwithitem-switchwithblank-switchtab-destroy method

I lost the stone and got the same "invalid placement" error. Did they fix something and I need to adjust my methodology or did I just get unlucky? Any help would be appreciated

I can tell by your typing that you are an uneducated fuckwit.  This explains why you think books are bad.  I bet you think school is hard and you shouldn't have to repeat 7th grade again this year.

I was trying to re-use an epic stone last night and ended up eating it(still got the XP, just lost the stone Sad ), this was my second time attempting to re-use an otto's XP rock(I'd done it right the first time).

In my case, I am about 98% sure I just did a step wrong. There's a few steps that I tend to dyslexic backward and they my life looses all meaning and purpose...

But, hey, my method has the upside that even if you screw it up, you keep the XP! Now if we could find a method whereby screwing it up let's you keep the rock instead...

It does happen.
Even with the right process, you sometimes get a lag spike that causes a stone to get eaten.

In my case I actually know for a fact what I did wrong and have reproduced the error multiple times with DD stones. Basically, its two steps that I get reversed that does it. I'm just mildly annoyed that I made the mistake on the big stone and not one of the little 'uns.

Of course, thanks to some timely advice, I went VIP and scored a 30k Daily Dice stone on my first Gold roll  Cheesy hey, its only worth 1/67th of the Epic stone but its all good Cheesy

In case no one has suggested it yet, I highly recommend you contact Epoch for assistance. PM is the best method, but if you can obtain his home phone number, that would be preferred. But why settle for advice? You should ask for a personalized photo, and a lock of his hair.

Are you sure that's an error?

That's not an error. That's part of normal Vault operations.
