Human fighter + Dwarven <3 = new race? It's not a fucking gnome but it might work for a niche bard build with a high perform skill not linked to actual physical height.

Excellent idea! Half-dwarf bard = new prestige class! Usually only Turdbin comes up with such original ideas.
