That is already answered earlier in this thread,

Yes, but there are a number of builds, mine included, after the fact that have PSWF included without comment, so now any confusion is cleared up...

Yes, that is what I was alluding to.  Several people clearly didn't take the time to read the thread, and thus paid the price of a wasted feat, aka a Lazy Tax.

Deft Strikes does not seem to be working. Limited testing, however. Rolled a wolf to lv 20, naked, no destinies, using a short sword and centered. Auto attacking only against regular dummy using haste potions as timers. With or without Deft Strikes times remained roughly the same @30~ seconds. More conclusive testing would require dps testing fully geared and kitted. Though I do not believe it will make any difference.

New AP for quest max dps layout including killer, harrier, 1k cuts, DoD, and 20mp from henshin tree.

optimal dummy racing AP using 6 monk levels for core 3 henshin.

idk if the 6 mp from harper is better than grabbing few more sneak dice+base dmg in nature's warrior.

sure, but would have to give something up. prolly the harper ap? strike should be better than 6mp.

Sup Rubbinns

I've been testing monk splash melee splits. Mainly 6 monk because i see potential, especially that 30 Melee Power, it can be pretty devastating in heroics. For a Wolf build, the monk stances, depending what stat you main. For a STR version i'd probably go Fire stance for the extra damage and crit mult (if it works in wolf mode) and sacrifice the Air stance's doublestrike, since with Natural Fighting (was able to get 2) you'd come up with the same amount of doublestrike like non monk versions do anyways.

I tried
11/6/3 druid, ranger, monk
- 20 melee power
- Lots heals
- Exposing Strike
- Some SA dices
- 1 NF feat

9/6/5 druid, monk, ranger
- 30 melee power
- 2 NF feats
- No need for Air stance (debatable?)
cons
- No exposing strike

Went DoD, harrier, Henshin cores and took up Lelouch's suggestion which is pretty nice on the defensive side. Iron skin, Knock on the sky and Reed in the Wind (if not Dodge capped). Hit over 150 prr with slaver gear. I can't talk about my DPS, it was non existant, i forgot to transfer my toon with its STR gear and transfered my thrower gear instead  Undecided
Kobold DPS was around 90sec with only 35 str  Undecided

Kind of really miss Exposing Strike so been thinking about dropping NF and going 8/6/6.

What you think?

Also, could you tell me what the gear layout would look like?  Since 2012 i've only played very few melee builds and i never lasted long playing them. Kind of got stuck playing ranged or caster till now. Lost interest in ranged combat, so now i need to figure out what gear i need to get hit less and less hard.

Cheers

that seems low, I can put up mid 30s using a toon without optimal gear and only 1 rogue life.

Halfmaniac wrote on Dec 19th, 2016 at 12:36pm:

I would suggest this for higher dps because ap is so tight once killer, harrier, and dod are added. the 6 monk split would gain 10 more mp/3 prr and get access to shadow veil. but you have to then drop killer or harrier ap.

should be able to grab all 3 nf. http://www.ddovault.com/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1430127586/144#144

light armor would grant the prr bonus in form. if not wearing light it is still 30 hp for 4 ap in a tree that is leading up to killer.

light armor, really? seems odd as forms carry over all aspects of armor usually. I only ever tested cloth builds.

It all comes on good gear that you want anyway. The second tactics slot on slavecraft will be a low priority, but there's nothing else to put there.

Takedown: This attack deals an extra 2[W] damage, and you may trip the target, rendering it prone. Some creatures may be immune to this effect. A successful Balance check negates this effect. (DC 11 + WIS mod. Any effects that improve the DC for the Trip feat also improve Takedown.)

Tempest dont work with wolf form but still a good bluid when stack TWF+SWF or TWF+SWF+Shield Mastery.

i will do TR for fix old wolf for a new wolf but i need of help.

somes information from:
https://www.ddo.com/forums/showthread.php/488725-Theorycrafting-Wolf-Builds-(Aga...
  1. Doublestrike bonuses from Natural Fighting, Shield Mastery, Wind stance, etc. all work in wolf form.
  2. SWF attack speed bonus applies to wolf form while you have 1H melee weapon in your mainhand and a non-metal orb (or nothing) in your offhand. The +1.5x damage bonus does not.
  3. TWF offhand proc chance still applies, regardless of what's equipped in your hands or other melee feats you've taken. [Still a bug; still hasn't been fixed.]
  4. Critical hit bonuses: Improved Crit:Blunt feat (inc. from Impact weapons) increases wolf form base crit range from 19-20 to 18-20. Competence bonuses to crit range & multiplier like Keen Edge, Strike with No Thought, Ravager Crit Rage, etc. do NOT apply to wolf form. However, "+1x crit multiplier on 19-20 to-hit roll" bonuses like Focused Wrath, Fire stance, Headman's Chop, etc. DO apply. Bonuses to crit damage like Seeker, Kensei Critical Mastery, etc. should also work.

I made three compilations to begin a discussion.
I wanted the bluid with good dps and survival for a Meele.
(I have 9x divine life, 3 pdk life and 1 wlk).

I try 9 Druid 9 Monk and 2 Ranger but dont feat for get Monk Stance or NF.
the Bluids do not have DEX focus but "9/8/3 Monk/Druid/Ranger" would work well with DEX.

I do not know the end gear this bluid, if anyone has a list to help me, I appreciate the help.

for best trash dps 10d/6m/4ra harrier, killer, henshin, ninja spy.

for best boss dps or red named kobold times 11d/6m/3ra. same as above but loses killer and gains frostbite spell.

Those are still the best melee dps builds in game even after the tempest and dual boost nerfs.

Yeah, though tier 5 kensei isn't that far behind. It may not beat the monk numbers, but having better defenses leads to more uptime against mobs that aren't CC'd.
