DC is an awesome destiny, but I think LD is more synergistic for this build. (and any other high attack rate build that can twist balanced attacks with combat brute.)

only for pure monk Throwers or Bard throwers exploiting broken Keen stacking.

When for a Melee DPS or non-Thrower Keen Stack exploit build is DC better than LD?

I like running my two wolves in DC, simply for easier selfhealing. my dps maybe quite lower but I will chew thru anything in the end anyway

I've a query and given this is the place with the most recent wolf chatter...

There are a few beneficial glitches in Wolf form. I'm not going to be more specific than vague because of late it's been Public Release->Snitch->Fix so fuck that.

That said, has anyone else been able to reproduce an effect around SP? I have a few accidental successes but not worked out exactly the trigger.

More curiosity than anything else; never runs out of SP anyway.

Edit: Whilst I'm here if anybody has any idea why Balanced Attacks only intermittently works as stated, I'd be interested in a workaround.

You're probably running Essence of the Shrike which is WAI.

Re: Balanced Attacks, it doesn't always display the knockdown, but you should always see the dps spike after a vorpal. Some things are immune to knockdown though.

Yep, I do have that trained, but I'll PM you about this other thing.

Ahhh, the graphic being displayed could explain it as the DPS does feel about right given descriptions. That makes sense. Thanks, and apologies for stupid - should've noticed that.

Dance of Death works for unarmed (read:wolf) at the moment.

Consistently? Last time I played with it on a testing build, hmm about three weeks ago, it did nothing like the description on a Winter Wolf.

Wolf builds have a weird area of effect.  I believe it uses the same area as unarmed combat.  (Which, on a PDK build feels really, really tiny!)  So, while it works, you really need to have the mobs super close together.

Have the devs ever commented on how wolf/bear form is supposed to interact with +W weapons?  (ex.  You equip a Tier 1 Thunderforged weapon, does your base damage become 4[1d10]?)  The DDOwiki page for Wildshape doesn't answer this question, and seems to have multiple inaccuracies.

First of all, you need an item with melee alacrity like http://ddowiki.com/page/Item:Jorgundal%27s_Collar_(Level_14) or http://ddowiki.com/page/Item:Jorgundal%27s_Collar_(Level_25).  These are 12% and 15% which are, I believe, the best in the game.

Improved Critical:Bludgeoning is also a must to extend crit range.

Concord Op should be equipped - I actually keep it on until I'm L27/28, and only swap on EE.

Essence of the Shrike gives 20 temp sp on crit, which when you're attack speed is in the 35-45 range happens quite often, especially since your double strike should be in the 20-30 range also (can't check my toon right now)

Finally, with the attack speed and double strike, use any of the vampirism/lesser vampirism weapons (http://ddowiki.com/page/Sacrificial_Dagger or I use a  Cannith Vamp/BodyFeeder with a http://ddowiki.com/page/Item:Ruby_of_the_Endless_Night) and you basically don't need to heal your self any more.  Occasional Rejuv with empower heal and maxed out heal skill means you basically don't have to spend SP keeping your self alive.  Most EH's I never shrine except to recharge clickies.

I'm running PDK 9D/9F/2R right now but I've also run 9D/9R/2F for a ranger past life and 9D/9Rogue/2Ranger Shadar for my rogue past life.  Tried a ML 9D/9Barb/2C, but that was pretty bad Smiley

Apologies for the noob question, but is this build ideally played with 1 weapon equipped and orb in off-hand?

Here's another noob question: if wolf attacks do slashing and piercing damage, why IC: Bludgeon and WS: Bludgeon?

Because the feat texts say that bludgeoning applies to animal forms. Essentially it counts as unarmed combat.

1) When does this build start shining? Probably once you get Dance of Death?

2) No metamagics? Empower Heal and/or Quicken look like they could be useful.

Cocoon is enough for me. If you're not worried about maximizing DPS, you can swap out weapon focus 2-3.

I'd hazard a guess that the DPS is more than adequate to cope with losing 4MP Wink

I wonder which CitW weapon would be the best for this build?

I'm also wondering what factors to consider when making a TF weapon. What kind of weapon to craft? High crit range (scimitar?) Or maye heavy Pick? Does it actually matter when fighting in wolf form?

Nope. You're just looking at the effects. None of the standard weapon properties ([w], crit range/multi, etc) make any difference.

Does Shadowscale break oath?

So I'm going to equip either shadow- or dragonscale armor. Just realized with this build you have heavy armor proficiency. So go for heavy armor instead of medium? Do you get a spell failure chance from taking heavy?

No, yes, and yes, but since you'll be casting divine spells, you can tell ASF to take a short walk down a long cliff.
