That's a rather open ended question.
Maybe include your video card model, VRAM as well as your CPU model, Operating System and main system ram settings.
Also, what setting do you play - full screen or windowed?

Most modern cards can run DDO's graphics at full settings at 1920x1080.
You need to balance the vid card with the system Hard drive (HDD) you use.  If your hard drive is not speedy enough, your vid card won't make any difference.
If it is not a SSD, then the comms channel of your Hard drive (7200rpm) or the read/write speed (5400rpm) might be the bottleneck in your system and you will experience slow load times, rubberbanding and even crashes.

I don't use Nvidia so I can't advise from personal experience sorry.

I'm talking particularly about the Nvidia Control Panel. Just adding the game to the list of 3d Applications improves performance quite a bit, but i remember some time ago testing everything out and coming up with optimal settings.

Unfortunately that was a few years back, and i'm not home to go through my documents.
I know some of the people here, and i am pretty sure that  they would have some settings to tweak DDO performance.

Ingame settings i remember, antialiasing 4x+, match frames to screen, texture cache (0)

Snows starting to fall in the south island now. Ski fields are expected to start opening in mid-late June.
