Psh, it must be an oversight. Turbine works tirelessly with monk coding to make sure things work with it.

Turbine works tirelessly

An oxymoron if I've ever seen one.

I just read that the cat followed up by visiting the dog house later that night, dropping some Willie Pete in on the sleeping dog.  #epochsfamiliarFTW

I am pretty sure the monkies are calling the shots. Not working with anyone.

any build suggestions for a melee warlock using the aura that isn't shiradi based?

Have you tried a lower difficulty, such as the official forums?

Is Divine Crusader better?

If so, I've got a Pure Horc Warlock (Fey Pact) with 41 APs in Enlightened Spirit, 23 APs in Tainted Scholar, 8 APs in Harper Agent, 6 APs in Horc racial tree, and 2 APs in Soul Eater.

He's a SWF build with TF Bastard Sword and TF Orb.

306 Force Spell Power
380 Light Spell Power
323 Positive Spell Power
291 Sonic Spell Power

60 STR

53 Fort and Will saves
60 Reflex Save

His aura does 600+ on a non-critical "pulse"

Never took a serious look at what Eldritch Burst or Spirit Blast does when I trigger them but they are obviously higher than the normal aura pulse.

93 PRR and 93 MRR

1065 HPs

1463 Spell Points

10% Dodge

84 AC (yeah, I know...BFD)

125 Healing Amp

I'm VERY happy with the Melee attack damage plus Aura damage combo.
