TWF FvS build! Constructive criticism required!

Hello everyone!
Second build post on the vault!

Basically the whole point of this build is to use twf with scimitars, while having self heals and trapping abilities. Enhancements are chosen to boost scimitar damage as much as possible! My real question is how viable this build will be in heroics and even epics. Anyways, here goes! It's a lot of reading, but you'll understand the build if you know anything about twf builds. let me know what you think! Thank you, Enjoy!

Sure. Now instead of 12 FVS, do 14 pally. You're welcome.

Once you meat your personal goal you might want to give that some consideration.

Good grief Meat, you're hopeless. You would label the simple act of taking a shit as someone obeying the divine law of nature to leave a proof of existence.

I know TWF builds very well and this is not very good...

"the whole point of this build is to use twf with scimitars, while having self heals and trapping abilities"

If the above is your actual goal, then I would suggest 15 Paladin/3 Ranger/2 Rogue - evasion or heavy armor.

If you want the Favored Soul icon you are better off going 12 Favored Soul/5(4) Rogue/3(4) Fighter

I don't think naming names would be a good thing for me to do, but I'd pretty much add anyone who's a know-it-all dick on the list. Even if they are sometimes intelligent with their opinions, the way they state them in long, "i'm a lawyer at trial"-type posts makes me want to punch them in the face. They act like whiney babies with god complexes and then freak out if someone so much as breathes criticism in their direction.

FYI the best TWF builds are:

8 Fighter/6 Ranger/6 Monk
9 Monk/8 Fighter/3 Ranger - centered Kensais

20 Barbarian

15 Paladin/5 Ranger
20 Paladin
18 Paladin/2 X - works fine as well

12 Ranger/5 Rogue/3 Fighter or Paladin
12 Rogue/4 Ranger/4 Fighter or Paladin - can go light or heavy armor on these w/daggers

20 Rogue or 18 Rogue/2 whatever - potent glass cannon

I had flashbacks and realized the first life of what is now my main was a TWF scimitar elf FVS. That was a long ass time ago. Pretty sure it had "prestige enhancements". Like others have said, there are way better ways to do self-healing melee now. It's frustrating when somebody says "help with this build" and it feels like the advice is "play a different build" but there it is.

But, if you are married to this level split then you need to get at least Quicken and Empower Healing.

Drop Cleave. Take T5 Ranger Dance of Death. It beats everything else. Seriously. And sarcastically. And every other way. Try DoD.

heh, reminds me bit my sunelf tempest/cleric running with dual forgotten lights - was not bad but quite subpar to usual dpsesers - mostly for flavor and for making wis based melee

Thanks for the feedback everyone! This was just a build off the top of my head, messing with the character creator. I find  15 pally/ 3 ranger/ 2 rogue the most interesting! i'll have to put that through the creator to see what i can come up with. Again thanks for the feedback everyone!

Just as an aside on this...(I agree with everyone else that if you want TWF prowess + self heals + trapping then 14 Pally/whatever is the way to go), the things that FvS brings to the table require you to fit into one of three categories:

Shiradi caster - use 12 FvS with Wiz to be a force and light spell spammer.  DPS non-stop.  (Some posts here in build forums on this build)

DC caster - Use 17-20 levels of FvS mixed with 0-3 levels of other and go max wisdom.  You can get some melee in there with a fighter or pally or monk splash.  Maybe go ranged, if you want.  You will be able to do some damage you won't be good DPS.  Mainly, you are a divine caster.  The other stuff is just for when you run out of mana (or want to conserve mana).  Although this build isn't as popular anymore, Implosion is still the best insta-kill spell in the game.  It is extremely survivable and solos well (if a bit slowly).    But it doesn't do great DPS, so in raids you might find yourself feeling a bit useless besides throwing heals.

Party/Raid Healer with Melee/Ranged - 14-17 levels of FvS mixed with pally/Fighter/Monk/Ranger/Rogue.  With this, you dump stat wis and take almost no meta magics (maybe quicken and Emp Heal) and use the other feats for DPS.  You won't land a DC cast after Korthos, most likely, but you can get some good DPS.  Your BB will tick at half damage against non-evasion mobs and the shoulder archon will add a little DPS, plus the no save DPS from Searing Light and DP dots.  You aren't going to hang with pure DPS builds, but then, you can't have everything.

It's impossible to go deep into the FvS/Cleric levels and have strong DPS right now.  They don't offer enough that helps your crit profile or your attack speed/base damage, which is how Pallys, Barbs, Mechanics, and Bards do it these days.  (This is actually the same problem that Fighters, Rangers, and Monks have right now).  I'm not sure if they ever will.  If you want to be a holy warrior, there is a class for that.  It's called Paladin.

They also don't offer any multi-proc spells (like MM or CM) that are mana-efficient for shiradi casting, so mana efficient DPS is a challenge against mobs with 10k HP plus.
