You know all those complaints about the Str Levers in Legendary Tempest Spine?

STOP COMPLAINING!

I've just found out that groups are skipping 9/10ths of the Raid!

Devs the Str Lever to get to the upper level from outside needs to be placed so high that absolutely NO-ONE can reach it! {Heck just have it be broken and that gate unusable!}.

The Lever to the Beholder and Sor'jek which I assume is the same DC should have a secondary way to open it by killing the Marut {Also SKIPPED!}.

People skip the phat loot available in all the chests along the way, and just go to the highest entrance ?

People didn't know you could skip most of the raid by going to the highest entrance ?
( only issue is that you don't have any runes... which makes Sorjek a bit more difficult to handle )

Note : I made guildies discover that you could eventually skip most of the raid by telling them so in voice chat yesterday while we were running not far from Marut.

It seems it wasn't widely known... Now since it's in The Vault and Fran got his panties in a knot over it, everybody will know about it.

What I can't understand is why. He seems upset for the fact that an end game raid lasts only 5 mins but he still can run it without skiping anything if he enjoys it LOL. TS has been that way since... The Epoch...

Those that did explore the outside could find the way up, the only drawback was that you ended up against Sorjek without any rune to weaken him...
on Heroic it wasn't a viable option.

It is a viable option in Legendary for a group with enough DPS to overwhelm Sorjek Regeneration. Not every group is able to do that, but at the moment, most of the groups trying it can. TS has always been intended as a multiple solution quest, some are just tougher than other.
( you can enter from the bottom and fight your way up, from a bit over Fire & Ice, from the ledge ( yes THAT ledge can also be reached from the outside ), and from yet another entrance further up. )

If they hotfux TS, the right way to do it should be to buff up Sorjek Regen so that he can't be beaten in Legendary without the help of the runes ( like it is in Heroic )

Back on Boldrei ( IIRC it was still Boldrei, but it might already have been Keeper )... The Spellswords ran a Tempest Spine Trivia Contest ( 11 players + I referee ) with silly questions like : How Many Shrines are present outside of Tempest Spine, How Many entrances is there in The Spine, How many Elementals ( outside/inside and by type ), well how many mob ( inside/outside by type, and eventually the locations where they respawns if they do )...
Winning party is the one that complete the quest the fastest with the most of answers right.
So we did thoroughly map Tempest Spine before that... At least 5 to 10 completions were done just to map the area, count things, explore everywhere and generally find tricky questions to ask.

Are they overcoming Sorjeks regeneration? Or.... is it not there when most people skip it... THAT is the question you should be asking. Feel free to experiment.

You could open that gate with a str check since the game was released, not sure why anyone thought this was a secret or exploit.

Next time it will be the valves in crucible slowing the water flow speed being an exploit. lol I doubt anyone knows they are there, let alone what they do....
