Words are hard, I know.  Different things are called by different names; it can be overwhelming.  However, for the sake of clarity, brevity, and protecting the Queen's English, we all go out of our way to try and call things what they are.  Rangers don't get improved evasion, they get a gay-ass tree ability that takes what, 33 points to aquire, and locks you out of all other tier 5 abilities in the process?  Hardly the same as a single feat...called imroved evasion....which is not that.

Improved Evasion =
9 Levels Monk or
10 Levels Rogue (at least) or
5 Levels Ranger + 6 AP (would need to be at least be 9 Levels of Ranger or splash 2 Rogue/2 Monk to have evasion in the 1st place).

No matter the equation or the wording the result is the same.  IMPROVED EVASION.

Edit:  I'm not sure how it works with Evasion from Epic Destinies.  I would assume the same as the rest.

Evasive Dance: Improves your Evasion ability so on a failed Reflex saving throw against an attack that normally deals half damage on a successful save, you only take 85/70/50% damage.

Dire charge is great for helplessness. This build has Balanced Attacks though, so everything is already helpless. Also, the build already has too many active attacks.

Not worth giving up dire charge for. Saved my life many times on LE.

Am I the only one experiencing problems with Dire Charge not actually taking effect? The animation goes off and the mobs don't care (they make no saves) often enough to make me dislike it enough to not keep it.

For a character that misses on 1's only, this seems more like a 1 in 5 charges does absolutely nothing. Will test more to find out though.

Doesn't Vanguard charge suffer from the same issue?
