New expansion/campaign starting on Friday, so no time like the present to install and create a character. I just installed it a couple of days ago and it seems like a decent enough Diablo clone.

It is a good diablo clone, which has manged to stay almost entirely free of P2W and still thrive. Desynching was an issue when I was playing it, are people still complaining about that?

They rewrote that part of the engine a year back, it fixed it for me. It still has lag occasionally, but if you play DDO you probably won't mind at all. And considering I live on the other side of the planet from PoE and in the state adjacent to Turdbin, and PoE has 2 orders of magnitude more players, that's pretty impressive. I'd expect heavy lag right when the expansion comes out, there is a massive crush of players for a while after a new release.

Turdbin, keep changing the DDO rules, because McDonalds sold over 200 billion hamburgers by changing the recipe for their Special Sauce every couple of months to keep interest up.
