	Developer of Witcher. CD Projekt Gets $7 Million to Study Game Development Quote: National Center for Research of Development in Poland has awarded famous local studio called CD Projekt RED 30 million PLN ($7 million USD) to help it research several aspects of game development. The Witcher series developer had four proposals for possible research topics and all of them were approved. The proposals featured several game development aspects: city creation, seamless multiplayer, cinematic feel, and animation excellence. Developing video games is a hyperinnovative activity, but also one which carries substantial financial risks, involves continuous R&D work, and requires much experimentation and prototyping along the way. The GameINN program�a fruit of our industry�s collaborative efforts�will, in the coming years, enable Polish developers to carry out nearly 40 projects worth 191 million PLN. I am confident that the resulting innovative solutions will further elevate the quality of Polish video games and enhance our competitiveness on the global stage. Indeed, our industry now has the potential to become the champion of the modern Polish economy. They are also making the Cyberpunk game.

	I'm kinda worried by this. I was looking forwards to their cyber punk RPG & was hoping it'd be another great single player experience. Now I'm worried it'll be more like GTA5 with a strong multiplayer focus or have some sort of multiplayer system similar to Darksouls. Rampant speculation on my part I know, but I can't help but feel this means their next game won't be single player only.

	Worst thing is that i hated the witcher 3 about as much as i loved it. The systems are some of the most stupid bullshit ive seen in a game, and the open world is both dull and made entire pointless by the fucking map. But the writing is p. amazing, easily on par with MotB, or PST. The voice acting in this game leaves everything else ive seen in a game in the dust, the characterization is amazing, so many unforgettable, fun characters that stay with with you. Probably the 2nd RPG (and i use the term RPG loosely) to ever manage to justify its voice acting. The big villain may be dull and the story ultimately uninteresting but the side stories are gold and the character interactions great.

I didn't make it past Skellige because I just got fucking bored. Great game though. Well worth my $60. I would have payed up to $100.
