	Logged on tonight bought a block of points and tweaked a couple toons for the new patch, finished off my slavers set, did a couple raids... and blaaaah. Found myself bored and dissatisfied with the prospects barely interested enough to finish the raid. My question to others who left game; is this how the end started for you?

	That's always how breaks started for me. Log in, figure out what I want to do and then just never bother doing it. Read the wiki a bit, plan out a life or two in my head, and then not bother logging in. I'm on an extended break at the moment, although I do run around a bit a few times a week, but only to kill time when I'm on-call for work.

	Another secret is for Turbine to introduce a ridiculously easy dupping exploit. People keep telling me there are downsides to it, but w/e. It kept me around during the Single Window Fighting era.

More or less. You don't need to become completionist or solo LE shroud to become bored with the game. The day I decided to quit ddo (haven't logged since a week before my goodbye to the game 2 months ago) I just TR'ed my main into a barb and simply thought I could already tell what quests would have been easy and what would have been even easier (barbarians...in DDO they are vampires, go figure why), what to expect in specific points and the number of monsters and traps and where to find them. I thought becoming completionist was the beginning of the fun. It was the end and I realized after 8 years in the game grinding everything in the game. I have been playing Path of Exile and Warframe since then and I don't regret it one bit

	Not that I want Grand to hang around or anything, but I find my energy level for the game comes and goes periodically. I took an extended break from 2013-2015 just because I wasn't really enjoying the game as much and was burned out. I'd been playing pretty much non-stop since 2008. I'd log on occasionally. Take part in a few key events that were too good to pass up, but weeks or months would go by without me really feeling like logging in. I played other games and spent my time and money elsewhere. I came back in July 2015 with a renewed energy and interest. 2 years of content I hadn't farmed the shit out of helped a lot. It was tough getting 20th completions of MoD and Deathwyrm and FoTP when all anybody wanted to run was DoJ, but it was fun. Still there are some days I feel like you did the other day. I log in, know there's a lot I could do and "want" to do, but nothing just really feels compelling. Then, a day or two later, I'm really excited about running some stuff. The same stuff that felt meh just a day ago. It happens. If it happens enough, take a break.

	Playan a new character without vip sucks, i wish i could open quests on elite. Also i dont own almost any adventure pack and it will be months till discounts are good enough for me to buy them.
