12 Fighter/6 Rogue/2 X
8 Rogue/6 Ranger/6 Fighter
10 Rogue/6 Fighter/4 Arti
18 Ranger/1 Rogue/1 Arti
12 Ranger/6 Rogue/2 Fighter

Observations:
Deepwood Stalker and Kensai are better trees than Mechanic.  AA is strong in Heroic but wanes in epic.  All active range shots in all trees work for repeater.  If you play 18 plus levels of Rogue use a Great Xbow, it's better than repeater.  Mechanic tree in general is better for Great Xbow.  Arti "endless fusilade" needs a pass it's not worth the 4 levels.

Yes, that.
In more detail, the 13 Rogue/6 Fighter/1x is the better option for a rogue based repeater.  You lose 3d6 sneak attack but gain 1 crit threat range in the Kensai tree.  "a good death", "deadly shot" and "shattering shot" are better active attacks than anything in the mech tree as well.

I have an 18/2 Rogue/Arti as one of my alts who generally sits at cap and farms for my main. I want to switch her up to something different as I'm a bit squishy and would like a bit more utility spell wise(ddoor, displace/tensers without scrolls, etc..). I also want to give repeaters a solid run since I've been pure Gxbow for 3 lives with her. I came up with a build but before I pull the trigger I'm interested in some opinions as to how it may perform.

Instead of doing the Pali/Rog repeater thing, I want to try a Wraith/Kensei with 2 levels or rogue for trapping. Basically 12/6/2. Will give me the benefits of wraith and all the wizard spells, T5 Kensei including 3rd core and then the rest of the points spread out into harper/EK/racial.

I've already played with enhancements, and while it's very tight I can manage to swing everything I need. My biggest question is do you think Kensei alone will be enough damage with the other half of my points going for defense? I'll be able to get -35% ASF using half elf tree, which also gives me arti dilettante for free xbow proficiencies. May switch it to rogue since I'll have extra fighter feats, but it's a good way to start. I was considering going 2 arti for runearm instead of rogue since they can still trap, but I'd like to keep up my hide and move silently for more options in quests.

Pali is the easier choice as you don't really have to muck with anything. Wizard is a tight squeeze AP wise but it will have a ton more utility in the end. I'm just a bit concerned my damage won't keep up, but considering Mech T5 isn't really that great for repeaters the Kensei may actually be a solid alternative.

It won't be optimal DPS wise, but it's doable.  I would recommend Rogue over Arti to get venomed blades.  The extra proc damage per bolt adds up, especially in heroics.  Something like:

Palemaster- 21  Kensai- 33  Harper- 12  Assasin- 8 which adds up to 74 leaving 6 AP to play with.

This might be a stupid question but... Why take Conjure Arrows? Do the arrows from that work with repeaters?

There might be a feature I'm unaware of. But it looks like to me he's just using it so he doesn't have to carry flame arrow scrolls with him: he switches to manyshot when offtimer.

Correct.  Feel free to scroll if you want and save the 3 AP.

I have found as a ranged build in Reaper, movement speed is more integral to a build than before.  I have been testing repeater builds on 3-5 skulls and seeing how they perform.  Will update when I am able....

Dummy question again but I'm just clarifying... You use your repeater (using bolts) whenever you're on timer for Many Shot then swap to a bow for Many Shot right?

Yes, best way to extract the most DPS out of that split, mostly because bows and Xbows both get +1 crit expansion and multiplier with the 12 Ranger 6 fighter 2 rogue setup.
