Has anyone tried 5+ skull demons assault?

Sitting on 97 necro and 87 enchant, it is beyond useless in there even when you drop mind fog and crushing despair the mobs look at you, smile, and say now you die...

I am a bit new to DC casting with a lock but this seems almost un-ccáble...

2 skull shroud p1 has way lower saves and 10 skull meoirs seemsed like childs play, DC wise, compared to 5 skull demons assault...

Trial of the Archon quests have high saves. It's 2016s version of 2013 EGH. Just don't bring a DC caster there. What class are you playing? I assume wiz or warlock. Druid seems to be the way to go if you want to cc R10 without failing, but they're a one trick pony. The good side is that they help healing.

By the way, can you do a breakdown of your 97? I don't know how to get that.

or just bring a cleric ... 90+ reflex cometfall and permanent blindness to mobs no fail ... and can heal some poor souls.

nop did nt try yet but even on elite with 103 dc on necro some times mobs saves on my necro so i can imagine on reaper

I am away for the weekend, back on Monday...hit me up ingame Monday night  you are on cannith as well I think?

Also I went full retard...no max,no empower etc etc...dumped all forms of dmg for max dc's

I know when I click the +6 dc boost epic feat I am at over 100 dc for sure on necro...

Hit me up Monday night we can go over my gear etc as I am away from pc over this weekend.

I love my DC caster, but they are a tricky thing to balance. Look how they "fixed" old epics.
The DC increase is a positive. It is needed given because everyone else is doing 30% to 10% of their normal damage.

The game is 3X to 10X harder for them.
DCs can't be scaled since they are additive but even the +20 increase is warranted since there is no soft cap.

...unless they added a soft cap.

if the question was for me yes i m on canith also zorian
i dont even have the +6  epic feat boost dc cause i think the 3 min cooldown is not worth it,you can use only one wail and one circle of death and then you have to wait 3 mins
i have the +5 boost from the magister but i dont even remember to use this,with this my dc goes from 103 to 108

Not in Cannith. Used to be, not anymore. Still have mules left there. But I just wanted to figure out how to get those DCs so high on a warlock without going 100% on it. It seems impossible.

And why do you think this is  a problem? If they can't do that, these builds can't do anything else. You don't mention the DPS focused characters did well over 75% of the DPS on the dragons/red named, right?

Old epics were when the game was on it's peak, according to  the majority of people who played in that time. If the game turns to be like it was in ~2011, it's good. But it won't, because you now have one-shot, extreme burst damage, casters that don't use sp, and many other things.

The game was way too easy for brute force builds. Making it harder for those builds in relation to others is balancing.
