	I havn't run any R10 myself but it seems most of the party was capable of UMD scroll casting Ice Storm which does trivial damage but slows mobs down significantly with no DC check. Gives a bit of a buffer like sleet storm but w/o the whole party needing FoM or using SP. That and solid fog clickies...gotta love those
