opinions on a pure PM epic feat choice

pure 20 wizard palemaster, epic feat choices

as there are just SOOO many good choices these days, and far to many that seem required leaving even less room, I want to briefly talk through my reasoning before getting further opinions.

destiny feats:
-Hellball
-Arcane pulse
-?

Epic feats:
-embolden spell
-wellspring of power
-ruin
-greater ruin

Legendary feat:
-scion of shadowfail (obviously)

here are my thoughts:

why no epic spell pen?
-no room

why the weird combo of embolden and WoP on a DC caster?
-my problem with arcane insight is as a DC caster I want my spells landing as often as possible, not 30 seconds every 3 minutes, so a constant +2 DC's to all spells seems better. and why WoP? I consider it a great shore up for boss DPS were DC casters tend to lack against, pop WoP hit ruins, dots, etc. (especially if I want to main magister and don't have access to all of DI burst)

why no epic spell focus?
no room and embolden kinda acts as ESF for all spells

so thoughts?

Wizard: Maximize Spell (1),SF: Necro (5), Enlarge (10), Heighten Spell (15), Quicken Spell (20)
Base: Insightful Reflexes (1), Completionist (3), PL: Wizard (6), GSF: Necro (9), Spell Pen (12), Greater Spell Pen (15), Empower Spell (18), Epic Spell Pen (21), Embolden (24), Ruin (27), Greater Ruin (30) || Scion of Shadowfell (30)
Destiny: epic SP: Force (26), Hellball (28), Arcane Pulse (29)

This is pretty much the commonly accepted feat layout for a wizard.

yeah I was pretty much on point with the majority of my feats, though I did forget insightful reflexes funny enough so thanks for the reminder, and aside from swapping out a few things for personal preference glad to know I'm on track.

Wizards still run Hellball after the doublestrike nerf?  I don't see Master of Knowledge listed, which Hellball would at least ramp up/maintain.

I really wish there were better options than Ruin/Greater Ruin.  After 3-4 min (3000-4000 mana), you're drinking mana pots.  Ok for red named, but shit all for raid bosses.  I guess the latter doesn't matter since raiding is dead.

Yes, I still use hellball, but not because it's amazing but because there's nothing else that's really good.  As for ruin/greater ruin - I use them mostly for things like the named beholder in VoN 3.  When up against real boss-type monsters I use arcane pulse, electric surge, black dragon bolt, and the cold DoT.  They do a lot better DPS for a lot less mana.
