The new areas have interesting things to see.  I guess they just prefer making you hunt under bushes for scrolls or things to click vs. the drive by XP.  I prefer the drive by.

From today's livestream?

Yeah.  Also double remnants chance to drop and double commendations of valor this weekend.

I prefer the scrolls.  Finding the exact spot for a drive by can be a pita for some.

Maybe I'm old school, but Explorers in the Vale, H Orchard, and H Gianthold just seem really fun and easy.  Getting missives/scrolls/whatevers in Thunderholme, E GH, E Orchard, or KL or Sschind, etc seems like a PITA.

I prefer the Scroll-Explorer method because of the extra bits of lore those scrolls add.

It's remnant weekend starting tomorrow but Jerry didn't know whether the special items would be in the remnant vendor or not. At least that's what he said on today's livestream.

I agree with Ash... At least partially.

For wilderness area I definitely prefer the run by explorers, and it's how it should be everywhere IMO.
For internal areas ( like Cannith, Underdark, ... ) scrolls make a sense.

So overall I'm for a mix, but applied with a working brain cell instead of lets apply the newest one everywhere even if it's not making sense.

The same working brain cell that came up with the bundles?   I think that is the one they use for everything.  It's a bit out of it's depth...

I like both, depending on my goals.  The drive by XP is nice when I want the quick XP. The scrolls are nice because I can choose not to collect it from various reasons.
