I would think that the raids with their larger selection of named items would yield better returns, but maybe the BotFarm system is the way to go.

Since they won't give me The Item Collector at least now I have an outlet for them.

Note : the annoying thing would be for them to bring an Item Collector in the Spring 18 Update.

I only play 2 toons out of a horde of 19 total toons comprised of half mules and half non-played alts created to run with family or guildies.

Gonna free up a lot of inventory space on all those alts and finally get around to using the Birthday boxes with Citw Loot to feed em lol

I think the sentient sets are flexible enough and the XP grind is low enough that you will probably see players wanting a primary weapon and some situational weapons as well.  Also, I could see players upgrading an ML 21 weapon, an ML 23/24 weapon, an ML 26 weapon, and an end game ML 28/29 weapon to have for leveling. 

I think the per weapon grind is not so bad for opening the filligree slots.  Which encourages alts.  And doing multiple weapons per character.  We don't know how rare the filligrees will be yet.  Some are more rare than others.  And those, I think, are tradable.  That might bring back the economy that has been dead since the BtCoE gear stopped back around U23.

Also, I am having this reoccurring nightmare. Maybe I'm missing something, but it seems like we are going to have to farm for the filigrees. I get the sense that this will be like dragon touched armor, only way way more of a pain in the ass. I am scared. Someone please hold me and tell me it will be ok.

No reason to stay at cap. This actually really promotes epic reincarnation instead. Unless you have all the past lives and enjoy doing nothing but slavers and some number of quests for the perfect reaper/mythic versions of your items. Farm ravenloft for loot to feed all your gems and grind for the rare gem augments. This is the new expansion. Enjoy Ravenloft.
