So my biggest complaint (and really the biggest complaint I saw from other long time followers of the series) about Fallout 4 was yeah, huge map, improved combat and you could build a base - but everything seemed really shallow and one dimensional compared to the previous games. 

Bethesda's response?  Hold my beer.

Only played Fallout 4 and it sucked.  Bland everything, stupid base building because for some reason the player isn't able to hammer boards in straight and roofs would still have holes unless you get mods.  I didn't mind the mods but it is kind of silly that I need them when I'm the savior of civilization and should be able to have decent buildings.  All that gathering is just tedious and I ended up cheating because I'm not about to clean out some place for the nth time to find those few things I need and having to empty out inventory every 5 seconds is just a waste of time.

Not interested in any Fallouts at this point.  Really, Bethesda has not turned out anything that I've liked yet because it is all boring and pretty much the same shit, go here and kill/collect/do something the return, repeat same shit.  Main story is about the only thing that is interesting but still is along the same lines of kill/collect/do something just a little more fancy.

* the loot box controversy really should have been covered.  Bethesda basically bragged about being above it...then the players found all the mechanics for a loot box system buried in the code.  It basically came down to:

Bethesda: we promise to be the guy that will never rape you.
Player: hey, why does your overnight bag have knock-out drops and duct tape in it?
Bethesda: Ok, yeah, I carry those around with me; but I didn't use them, now did I?

Anyone watch Bethesda and the legend Todd talk about 76 at the E3 conference? It was pretty funny he recognized about all the issues with the game for once instead of ignoring them for the post part. I believe he mentioned free xpack as well
