A while back I made a halfling druid as an alt, got him leveled to 20 and flagged for shroud(this is how long ago I did that, it was back when there were still heroic shrouds firing every few hours). I haven't played the character at all for a very simple reason: apparently I fucking hate druids. Class is just not fun to me.

Well, I've got that +20 heart on him that I never used, so I want to get him re-speced into something I'll play, and geared appropriately as a farming-alt.

What's got a more brainless/easybutton approach: rogue or warlock? I know rogues have really good ranged DPS with appropriate gear and will probably be more fun to play, but warlocks may be less effort. Or if there's a good 2-class split I can try I'm willing to give it a go. Just keep in mind he'll only have cannith-crafted and BtA gear. I MIGHT craft him a heroic greensteel weapon if it's worthwhile.

Honestly something I found pretty brainless was a pure Wizard  EK/Vistani/Pale Master.

With 1300 neg spell power I just aura healed through Legendary R3 content with very little problem.  On R2 you could literally go AFK, come back and finish up killing whatever you were working on.  Finally the buff to AoE nuking is pretty impressive up to R3 or even R4.  Melee dmg is pretty good too, about 10k dps.

Of course, I fucking love druids so maybe you shouldn't take my advice on this.

Well it's kind've a range to get to the 1300 spell power but that was at cap.  I think my base was 1000 ish with Beacon of Magic and Mists set using the Silverthread belt.  Then, all the temporary boosts from EK add up to about 100 more (siphon, Action boost, Force's point).  Then I took Arcane Warrior which maxed out gets you 40 more and most importantly take Wellspring of Power and hit it every time you re-up your death aura's.  The cd of Wellspring is 3mins which was almost exactly the duration of my aura's. 

Wellspring not only gives you another 150 spellpower (which effects the entire duration of the aura) but also a bonus 20% to crit dmg which stacks with the crit damage bonus from Scion of Fire.  Since you have like a 60 to 70% neg crit chance these boosts to crit effectiveness are massive.

Shit going over this is reminding me how much I liked the build.  One last thing I think i did end up not having much in Vistani now that I think about it.  Just not enough AP to go around. I went 2 handed fighting to just try to maximize procs but I think single handed would be very similar.

Ya swf the way to go as I'd want to use the orb from rage quests for the set bonus. Just FYI the reason I max neg spell power IS for straight defense and survivability. You heal so much you just have to not get one shot and you're back up a second later.

The cool down on blinding fear makes it not so great.
