Does anyone know if it's possible / a way to convert BTC trinkets to BTA, with a ritual or something? I've come back and realised I'd apparently lost/recycled my ML1 10% melee alacrity trinket thinking it was fine as I had a load of that as crafting shards. I can't see a way to use the old shards (thanks, spiteful devs!) so I guess I'm out of luck, unless I can convert an old BTC trinket I found.

Any ideas?

There are no rituals or official paths in the game to convert the bind status of a BTC item to BTA (retardedly)

However, if you fuck around with the mail box long enough you will discover what you want.

Ah yes sorry I realise I wasn't clear. I know there's no official way, I wondered if any old tricks had resurfaced. I used to be a dab hand at a few tricks so figured with a clue I could probably get there.

Are you forcing bad connection lag with the mailbox? I can run through my old notes see what looks likely anyway. Thanks for the direction pointing.

If it was an ice festival trinket, you could disjunct it and apply an ML1 shard and it became BTA. Haven't tried it this year.
Store trinkets are BTA and shards of power stay at ML13 when you disjunct and apply ML1.

When you disjunct the trinket and make it whatever minimum level it becomes BTA. However, you will lose your alacrity because the *new* Cannith crafting alacrity 10 is level 14, not 1. Shocked

Thanks all. Yeah, if I disjunct it, I'll lose the 10% MA as Sid says. I've yet to get the mailbox working but it's been years so I've probably not got the timing right. From memory I think I've only played with bag contents over mail but I think the technique will be the same.

They're missing a trick not offering BTC->BTA tools in the store.

Ofc I have enough L20 haste pots but sometimes I just don't want to click that much.

I'm probably missing something because I haven't messed with the mail in a while as well, but I've been trying to replicate the method for a good while without any success... did they fix it?

When I left for a break of a few years they'd fixed most tricks I knew of, or at least were observant enough to make using some risky. So I guess either they remain fixed or haven't yet resurfaced.

Memory is fuzzy as it was so long ago but as far as I recall the mail/bag dupe was still working when I sortofquit.
