A.  They're a dev that's seen the writing on the wall and are milking an exploit to fill their own pockets before the company goes tits up.
B.  They're a dev and this is officially sanctioned because they finally realized they can make more selling exploits than the over priced crap in the store.

Haven't logged in in ages, no idea if server populations or sales are up or down.  If they're down a bullet proof exploit that everyone's overlooked for the past decade should absolutely raise a few eyebrows.

They deserve this for taking advantage of a niche group of retards, abusing the system and concept of 'grind' in order to emulate the existence of content, and then monetizing the ability to bypass that grind at absurd rates in a game full of actually detrimental bugs that have persisted from years into decades. A lack of transparency, a smugness that would be hard to justify if radiating from a real digital developer, and a know-it-all approach to discussing internal systems with outside end-users who have literally more experience and understanding of your product's operation than the worthless college trash you pay to role play as developers.

Turbine or Standing Stoned or what ever retard currently owns this game is a shining example of how to absolutely ruin a cash cow with its own, eternal market, with minimum competition. Imagine having a product to sell in a sector in which you are literally the only provider of a good and service that is sought by 5% of the population indefinitely. Now, picture yourself afflicting that 5% as hard as you can with hurdles and headaches, placing barrier after barrier between their ability to consume your product and their ability to ENJOY that product. Finally, take this one step further, by responding to those who complain "Hey, you're making it hard to enjoy this product i WANT to pay for" with a loud and clear "IF YOU DONT LIKE THE FLAVOR OF MY FOOD THEN UR TONGUE IS RETARDED"

Fuck you turbine, your ineptitude is the catalyst for the rampant, constant abuses of your systems over the years. From forum shitposts, to killing other players, to digital duplication, these things do not occur because its preferable to playing a game. these things occur because you intentionally make your game less enjoyable than these acts.
