Testing the Party Punch

So I splurged 25 TP and bought a Party Punch pot.  Wanted to test it to see if the 5% party favor drop rate could be played with.

Drank a major slayer pot and headed out to GH.  I was hoping that getting 3 kills for every kill might triple the drop rate.

So I got credit for 390 kills; actually only killed 130 but the slayer added 200%.

Got 2 party favors.  Yeah, I'm thinking the slayer pot isn't viable.

Ouch. Even if its only counting the actual kills(which I suspect it is) that is still a MISERABLE drope rate. That's barely 1%. Then again thats in line with SSG: drop rates are usually about 1/5th of advertised.

Were you in a party with other people killing enemies too? You only get a shot at a party favor if you land the killing blow personally.

If you happen to have 5 alt accounts at level 20+, then epic orchard on an AoE caster would be a quick way to rack up potions. That’s the only wilderness that would be worth doing IMO.

So I drank a punch and just ran he PoP and Madstone to brainlessly level a bit.  Ran at level 16, got 28 favors,  this was with extra killing that wasn't needed for completion.  Completely solo no hire in quest.  Make of it what you will.

I started a s/sheet but gave up after the first quest:-

Quest              Diff      Kills      Favors      Drop Rate
Trackers Trap      HE      162      10              6.17%

5% drop rate seems legit

I drank some and did a couple runs of the anniversary event - double dipping, as it were. Didn't end up netting that much extra but for 25tps it'll help some.

I bought 5 punch and run basic quests. My reward was  270 favors for the kobold gem. For me that was a good gem/buy.

Has it got the same level check on it that other similar stuff has? Or can I take a L30 caster somewhere and blow up little baby mobs?

Supposedly you can take a lvl 30 into butcher's path and autorun it.

Can confirm that CR level currently doesn't matter.  I've just been leveling with them not really optimizing.  Anyways Epic run of Von3 and I got favors in the intro heroic only quest.

They are cheap enough to do that with. Wish SSG would do more things like that.

Yeah 25 points is a great price. Excellent for the event as well considering you can grind out sentient gems if you set up right.  This plus the vip and game 15% xp at kickoff were really done right.

Just for the record, I bought ten stones from Dragonborn a few days back. Fair and civil trade which went smoothly
