I'm building a repository of MMO server/clients + support files to archive... because shut up. So far I have an Asheron's Call emulator(untested) and a working vanilla WoW(though I never got it to work on a VM, but whatever).

Anyone have any recommendations for other games to go looking for?

I believe my WoW server is based on Trinity. I haven't fucked with it in about 5 years but it worked well enough back in the day. I suppose it couldn't hurt to see if they've improved it. The gigantic fucking challenge back then was to find a matching client version for the server.

I'm mainly wondering about other games I can go look for. I remember having a working Ultima Online server at one point(though the community was a bunch of fucking assholes). I know there's a working OG EverQuest. I do like to turn these things on and fuck around with them sum, but mostly I'm just thinking long-term: get and archive all the files + instructions, then 20 years down the line turn them on.

BTW the ddo emu that I found may work,  but the commands it listed for connecting from the client to the private server aren't working as listed,  so I need to maybe read through the other ddo launchers and look up the arguments that the client currently accepts.
