Is there no great iconic past life toggle for ranged characters?  I use Shadar-Kai as a least crappy option for its defensive ability.  But as I am now using a ranged build I see that all the dps is melee-centric.

Would it be so out of character to the iconic nature which the abilities stem from to just as “and double shot” or “and ranged weapons”?

I know not every class has a direct bonus from these PL abilities, but something as simple as this would close the gap quite a bit addressing all melee and ranged characters.

I’m sure someone could analyze a more generalized caster option for more varied dc or  spell power options as well that wouldn’t break the lore of the class.  It could be attributed to a modification needed when making ddo work as an mmo.  It’s just a thought that I figured I would get out there and maybe see if it gets traction so we don’t have to wait for a turn at an iconic that addresses it instead.  Is there a new iconic ranged character coming out with the new bow tree?  Is there a better option for ranger classes than the defensive shard-Kai PL?

I agree that if you are a class that is specifically addressed with the stats the iconic PL active ability addresses, they are sweet.  But rather the lack of classes that can benefit from them, specifically ranged DPS. I was hoping that maybe I was missing something and there was a better non defensive option with the other choices that helps some game mechanic that I don’t know about.  I mean the repair buff is good for warforged ranged.  But was looking for offensive increase.

Yepp, it is weird. Ranged is in large, an entity that isn´t supported by the hamsterwheel (some rgr and mnk pl´s and your topped up).

If this is good or bad is another question? SSG is probably losing money by this design...

I am running high reaper, what do you use in that case? I agree that it’s decent for survivability, but I looking for more offense in this case.

Everything sucks for ranged there, so probably still Shadar Kai just because then I don't have to forget to turn it on for the quests where it actually matters like not-high skull raids. I don't think there really is a good choice there.

Each of the 5 cores will add 2% to your alacrity, stackable with all existing forms of alacrity for a maximum +10% bonus

Actual on Release:
each of the 5 cores unintentionally +4% alacrity when using Inquisitor, and if you swap weapons during a firing animation it will unintentionally stack each swap. Eventually Inquisitors crash the servers, so they disable dual shot on them for the forseable future. Since they can never fix it Inquis lose dual shot forever
