Jesus Christ, give the guy a fucking break.
Do YOU know how hard it is to steer a ship straight towards an iceberg and make 100% certain that it hits the iceberg you're aiming for? No you don't!
Actually
I do know... I was on that ship before it dropped me ( and 8 other ) off in the backyard of nowhere.
Trust me Dodging Icebergs is a skill Arctic Ship Captains learn pretty fast in iceberg riddled waters. ( though they miss now and then because they hit growlers aka icebergs that are barely above the water level ). So If they want to hit an iceberg, they will not miss it.

Do YOU know how difficult it is to ignore all your passengers screaming "HEY STOP ICEBERG AHEAD!" and stay the course? NO you DON'T.
That one I genuinely don't know... because the passengers ( those that paid indecent amount of money to be on that ship, the hitchhickers ( me and my 8 friends ) never bothered the crew ( despite de fact that we had access to the bridge ) with puny things like that... When the ship went head on into
The Pack at full speed in hope to crack it, we just hung on until it was over. ( it dien't work and we had to navigate around that bit of pack )

I for one applaud his steadfast determination, his ability to wear blinders and not see anything around him, and his courage above all to take this ship straight into the iceberg ahead despite the imminent disaster ahead.
*burp*
I'm on Rosé de Provence tonight. ( in a Despicable Me [ Minions ] refurbished mustard glass )

now I'll have to log and look at the damage done on all the Cakes and Cookies hoarded in that Bound to Character Gargantuan Cookie Jar I was swindled into buying years ago ( because I thoutght it was BTA ).
