Possible account-wide Star Fragment ransack rate. (Read 2201 times)

	So I've been farming the shit out of star fragments because I really enjoy legendifying all the old epic gear I have been hoarding for years. I know the saga is no big deal but I found it easier to run The Haunting of Saltmarsh and Under Cover of Darkness(mostly because I actually enjoy them). So of course I ransacked all chests on my main pretty fast. Then i switched over to alts. There's been a rather serious drop-off in drops. I suspect SSG might have some kind of account-wide ransack going on to keep people from getting them too fast. Though exactly why they would do this I cannot say.

	I'll never understand the propensity of people to brag about being good at a video game. Its a toy you play with for fun. The only person who should be proud of you is your mother. If you're 3.

	The saga reward includes a choice for several star fragments. The last time I did the legendary saga, I got a choice of 6 star fragments. I took it.

	Yeah I did the saga a couple times. It works ok. I mainly started playing just those two quests because I am dual-boxing and dragging an alt all across slatmarsh is my idea of hell. Also the alt can't pass the saga reward fragments.

My current line of reasoning is as follows: sometimes, extremely rarely(in fact, so rarely as to make me suspect it actually does not happen), the star fragment can be replaced by a Nebular Fragment, which produces the "perfected" versions of minor artifacts. The ransack, I suspect, is the result of them trying to make Nebula Fragments impossible to get. So, malice AND stupidity.
