I've been wondering about that. The other day, I got a mail from SSG, gifting me with... a masterwork bolt. 0 stats. It can't be deleted or anything. It just sits there, clogging up my inventory. I can post a screenshot later once I get home from work (on lunch break now waiting for my thing in the microwave)

Some people who TRd and used stones in their TR cache got them mailed back after consumption. There was also a TR exploit up and running for a few hours before they pulled the NPC. After the people who knew it exploited early and often they started telling their friends but 30 minutes later the TR NPC was taken offline.

It was typical SSG roll out a garbage patch that broke the backbone of the game. Then instead of just rolling it back and release it later without all the bugs/exploits they put a band aid on it.

I see the pattern now. Come up with a new vision for the game that nobody wants instead of fixing other issues. Ignore all the feedback and bug reports from the test server. Do a database pull to make sure the nerfs they put in are doing their job. Roll out patch ignoring all feedback/bug reports. Let the general population do free QA. Hotfix all the game breaking shit. Then push on as if nothing ever happened.

Oh yeah, the final step is to ban any dupers that were snitched on because players think that giving head to the devs will get them some special place in the world.
