	https://www.ddo.com/update-notes/ddo-update-57-release-notes Not sure how much of the nerfs they rolled back on. One piece of good news: "Monsters will now cast Tactical Detonation on a longer cooldown." <- that shit annoyed the crap out of me. Small victories.

	I'm expecting great things. I'm sure the imbue system is way more abusable then they expect. Still more melee type damage is a good thing.

It'll end up being over-powered for ranged, not melee. Its a system that heavily favors # of attacks, so inquise/repeater/thrower builds are about to become OP as shit. I am not complaining about this, merely stating a fact.

	I know there has been a lot of moaning about the imbue system but making a few test characters it looks pretty good to me. EK getting ranged casting back is a great change, will be much more fun to play one and you can splash a few levels elsewhere without it gimping you.

The gripping is because the imbue system was unnecessary and we would have liked the devs to focus their attention somewhere else(like maybe fixing that 17 year old ladder bug). Not about the system itself. I am actually looking forward to fiddling with it when I get the chance.
