The cool down timers are broke right now so they are pretty good. My stunning fist lands in Amarath quests without much problem.

You can take both . . . I currently have DCs of 35 and 40 for blow and fist respectively with 32 or 34 str and 26 wis I think (I also have 3 tiers of dwarven tactics).

However it's really hard to get the stunning blow DCs up for a non str monk.

Basically, if you're a str monk then you could make it work.  If you're a dex/wis then I'd stick with just the stunning fist.

Strength Monk would use Stunning Blow primarily and Dex/Wis Monk would use Stunning Fist primarily.

I have both on a human STR/WIS monk and it's ridiculously fun though gianthold now that they have fixed weighted handwraps.  Remains to be seen closer to endgame.

The nice part about stunning blow is it's a quick ki recharge once you autocrit.  alternating between tod/fist/blow is hard work, but everyone enjoys touching,blowing and fisting to get to the finisher!

yeah, now with the correct addition to DCs from stunning handwraps I am landing SF on everything in the vale and most mobs in the vale quest on normal so far.  lvl16 26wis light monk.

I am able to land it in Amarath on Dreamler. With the cool down broken you can spam SF until you run out of ki. I have a 32 wis / 34 with yugo pots.
