What the best tr path for a cleric?

I know this question is vague, but I'm looking for ideas. I have a level 20 cleric with enough shroud ingredients to craft basically any item. I just picked up a ring in tod last night. I forget the name, but it was +6 wisdom and +1 to exceptional strength. It's seems the ring was intended for a shinato monk.
     Are battle clerics of any use at high levels and epic level quests? I am also thinking of light monk or possibly muti-classing.

If you got the Shintao ring I'd say TR into a pure Monk.

Another possibilty is an Unarmed BattleClonk (18Cleric/2Monk). That's probably not as good though as your fist damage won't ever get past 1d8 (or is it 1d6 at 2nd level?).
