Turbine, why did you yet again nerf Wall of Fire without documenting it in the release notes?

As of Update 8, Air Elementals can *put out* walls of fire.  I'm not saying they're immune, I'm saying they can *put them out*, as in, dispel them.

If Air Elementals were immune to fire, that would be one thing.  At least, if there was a mix of Air Elementals and other monsters, I could use Wall of Fire to kill the other monsters. But this is worse than immunity to fire. The Air Elementals put the wall of fire OUT.

This shows a clear lack of understanding about Dungeons and Dragons.  A Wall of Fire is not mundane, normal fire which can be "blown" out with wind.  The Wizard or Sorc is channeling the Elemental Plane of Fire directly into the Prime Material plane.  This is MAGICAL FIRE.  You can't just blow wind on it and blow it out.  The magical fire doesn't rely on oxygen, its MAGICAL.

And if you don't like having the rules of D&D quoted at you, how about this: its an undocumented nerf which further erodes the balance of DDO making casters ever more USELESS as a class, relegating them to the role of buff/haste bots, which is useless because Bards can do that better anyway.  The only value to a caster is that they can go beyond buffs, and have DPS.  When you consistently remove the DPS from casters, you're effectively removing casters from DDO.

Please un-nerf Wall of Fire by preventing Air Elementals from dispelling them.

I hate to break it to ya but DDO isn't D&D.  It's an MMO based loosely on the D&D universe.  Any similarities to P&P are purely coincidental and the developers are working daily to remove those.
