With my main char Aubri, this weekend I noticed a very strange blue sparking effect that flashes in the front of my char constantly every 8 seconds.



I could not SS it very well, but when viewing it, it seems like a shield of some sort briefly popping into existance, then disipating in a shower of blue sparks.

I am fairly certain it is not buff related as it starts as soon as I log into my char. It triggers in quest/raid/wilderness and in town areas.

So, can anyone tell what it could possibly be? Not that it is hurting anything by any means but it is starting to get annoying and distracting as my eye is drawn to it now every time it triggers.

It is normally a Repeating Disease (Mummy Rot) When you have a disease immunity item on. Every so often the timer pings and the Disease Immunity prevents it, but because you don't get a saving throw it never goes away.

To fix: Die once. It should wipe it off your toon.

Mmm, interesting. As a Pali-rogue I should be naturaly and automatically immune to all disease effects, but I can imagine Turbine screwing up yet again, and I have some non-shown disease effect pounding away at my class immunity for the last 48 hours.

Ah well, I am certain I will die from something eventually, I do really hope that fixes it.

Well, I tried cure disease, pancea and unyeilding soverignty. I unequipped my proof against poision item, and still that blue flash is there.

It probably will disapear on death, that usually resets everything. If not, well then I have a nice long future ahead of me on Argo as "that sparking halfling"

Since the last update i noticed when a shield block on one of my toons when not using an acutal shield everytime u get hit a little shield pop's up and then burst away like that.
