A worth a shit arcane archer build.

Making my main into a arcane archer.

Going to have past lives
3 barb
3 monk
3 fighter
3 pally
1 sorc
3 ranger

Give me tips please on people who have made archers?  Also will be pure level 20 barb with sorc pastlife for arcane archer on a pure barb.

While that would be amazing, it is also impossible. You need some sort of blue bar, the sorc past life won't give you one. This has been confirmed by Eladrin and bitched out by an idiot that tried it on Argo even after being warned that it wouldn't work.

Also, I'm guessing that you want FB III and AA? The feat requirements make it impossible to fit in all the feats that make ranged useful. You end up either cutting out Bow Strength or Improved Precise Shot if you take that road.

One  of the AAs out there are claiming some mix of fighter kensai as an uber AA.  I will see if I can get him to post his build here.  He prefers it over his ranger AA thingamabob.

Sadly he is in my guild and insists on playing it.  At least he no longer has FoM.  Mwahahahaha!

Last time I was running numbers to compare Kensai III vs pure Ranger, I was seeing 7% more damage from Kensai III unless it was a favored enemy where it swapped to the Ranger doing 7% more. This was just general attack speed with no clicky boosts, so a Fighter with good timing of haste boosts could get another 15% on top of that if they're just using them for manyshot and melee the rest of the time.

I'd actually go Barb 12 / Ranger 6 / Rogue or Fighter 2
Well, I'd actually not make an arcane archer to begin with.  But if I were to do it, and if I were to base it on a barb, then I'd go 12/6/2.

Yeah thats what he was saying.  Threw some other stuff out there as well.  I don't play archers so i just threw most of it out the window... after heckling him of course.
