My primary melee is currently using this level split (12/7/1) and a similar stat distribution, and is loving it.  He's WF for a variety of reasons, mostly centered around exactly what I wanted him to do (which differ slightly from your character goals). 

In any case, I'm loving this split right now.  The versatility is great, and so is the dps.  The character is Jikuyin on Orien, if you're interested.
