Building an AA-FvS

Ok, I want some advice and thought I would ask here, instead of "there" (and yes I know there are a couple threads about this already).

Anyway, I have an AA, he was my first toon and has every named bow in the game as well as 5 GS ones, he is geared pretty well, but Iam bored with him so I want to turn him into a FvS. My plan is to TR  him into a gimmpy sorc for the past life feat then as soon as I hit 20, TR him into a FvS.

So here is my finail build, let me know what you guys think, and what changes you would think would be a good idea.

One note, I have the Tomes listed in the build already.

At level 20 he will have 497 hp, and 2554 sp before buffs.

The only real drawbacks I see are, I lose quicken, empower healing and precise shot.

On my other 20lvl FvS, I do not have empower healing and do not use quick very much, so those two may not be that big of a deal.

Let me know how / if I can improve this build.
Thanks.

I think you'll be very disappointed with the AA aspect of such a character.  I think you'll be fine without empower healing, but I haven't played enough healers to comment about quicken.

For the AA part, you're missing IPS, Bow Str, and imp crit:ranged, all of which should be high priorities.  Also, you really don't need as much dex as you have; some of those build/level points should be going into str (once you have bow str feat).  Also, you don't need any wisdom at all.  Your DCs won't really be high enough to justify caring about wisdom.  Charisma is unimportant also, so long as you have 10-12 starting (for disjunction-proof heal spells).

For your feat issue:
Splash 2 monk.  You retain level 9 spells, pick up evasion (awesome with your saves/dex), and two very valuable feats.  In this case, you can pick up Power Attack and Bow Str.  Also drop the FvS past life feat (totally not worth it), and pick up Imp Crit:Ranged.

If you want to fit in IPS, you probably need to drop another fvs level for fighter to fit the feats in.

Cheers,
Kernal

or take the ranger dil for a decent enough bow str since your str isnt going to be huge anyways and you have the APs to spare. id also probably go some sort of 18/2 or 17/2/1 and lose my lvl 9 spells but become better with a bow and keep wings. would still be a good BB kiting winging pew pew machine. you should really try and fit in IPS and keep quicken. with 3 extra feats you could do both and keep emp healing too. its entirely possible to have 30 in str/dex/casting stat and mid to high 20s con on tr2s with gear.

you really want to get Bow str, PS(17dex) and IPS(19dex).
as to emp heal >vs Emp I like the Heal spell boost aswell and its cheaper.

Dumping empower heal is fine, dumping quicken is BAD.  Very very very very BAD.

Without quicken you're forced to use mass cures, which are nowhere near as efficient - this is fine in shrouds.  It's also probably fine in guild runs (depending on WHICH guild you are in).  But if you do any tough content with a less than perfect group, you will want your heals to be as efficient as possible.

Also, I'm pretty sure quicken is required in eDQ no matter what.

If he goes with the monk splash: Evasion and awesome ref save might let him get through eDQ without quicken.  Not recommended, of course.

Thanks for the help guys, I have decided to drop the idea. It just does not look like I can make it work with everything I want / need it to do.

I am just going to TR back into another AA, focused more on str.

You should TR into a tempest.

i agree. the way ranged combat is now its not good enough to devote feats and an entire prestige to it unless its secondary. you wont (and shouldnt) have a bow out enough to justify using AA. better to just be high str tempest and pull out bow everytime manyshot is up and dominate for 20 seconds.

I'm pretty sure my tempest does better dps in melee than with a bow & manyshot.  Granted, his bow selection is pretty wimpy, and I have up to a second of weapon-swap lag.

With a proper bow manyshot will outdps melee easily enough.
