	In fairbanks alaska we have a lot of thai and japanese and a few chinese immigrants. The food is pretty good and as close to authentic as you are going to get if you know which restaurant to park your ass.

I had similar experience as you when I lived in California, the Chinese food there even at chain restaurants was fucking incredible. But here like the thing is it's not like these people aren't authentic, they're obviously fob! It's just like they don't give a fuck about their food tho.
