So,

Finally get the chance to download this abortion and I can't complete it.

I'm getting an error:

The requested http header cannot be located.

So, I try to log into the crap forums to find a solution, can't even log into the forums.  Go to the Main Turdbine page and change my Forum password, thinking I forgot it.  Nada, zip, zilch.

Anyone got a remedy for me by chance?

Edit-Turns out my old password still works, even though I changed it....epic win.

Took a bit, but the 3rd file updating had an artificially large payload.  Edited out a bit of garbage and I am golden.

Thats exactly what I had to do yesterday. I thought it was just me or I would've given everyone a heads up.

I had issues at first too.  I had to relaunch the launch with Administrative Rights which is odd because I long ago gave it those.

Yes, I'm sorted.

I redirected at the Turbine launcher first, no joy.  Then I took a closer look at the error, thinking mabye my firewall was stomping on the http request.

Turns out that the 3rd update file had a TCP payload of 166, which seemed abnormally high.  I parsed the packet with packetsmart and found that somehow I had a bunch of gibberish inserted into the header, from sources unknown.

I put the packet back together and saved it, then launched the Launcher again, voila.  Ran an elite Shroud, had my normal lag-fest and went to bed.

I had some issues...ran the launcher as administrator (right click in Win 7 should show the option) and it ran fine.
