So clearly the best time to time to dredge through the forums is when you're at work and being paid for it.
I was hoping one of you knew if there was a way I could get around this problem?
I view everything fine. But when I try and login I always get this. Is there another way I can login perhaps?
Based on your corporate access policies, access to this web site or download (
http://www.ddovault.com/cgibin/yabb2/YaBB.pl?action=login2
) has been blocked because the file type "application/x-perl" is not allowed.

I'm not an expert, but perl is the coding language that YaBB uses. Maybe there are issues with the language itself?

That's a company filter for sure. Easiest way to get around it is to use your phonr. Second is to make good with an admin who can show you ways through. Third is to find a way through on your own. Fourth is to buy a shack next to work and set up a strong wifi signal aimed at your desk.

Yeah, I was totally wrong.
You could always just work remotely from your home desktop.

Its a content filter, they dont want you able to get to any forums/bb's so they block anything that's using perl. Kinda hamfisted way to do it, but effective.
Any fool can criticize, condemn and complain and most fools do.

That sucks. Then again, one of the best ways to guarantee a secure system is to make the system as simple as possible.
Working remotely should still work though.

you know what helps getting around website blockers? Knowing what they are using to do it. Websense, Trend Micro, as a couple examples.

I just read that the cat followed up by visiting the dog house later that night, dropping some Willie Pete in on the sleeping dog. #epochsfamiliarFTW

It seems like Epoch never loses his popularity.
Even against donuts.
