pre-TR checklist

No drama.  No exploits.  Just a useful checklist to see if there is anything that you forgot to do before you TR.

I absolutely agree, but I like seeing that big list so that I can remember all the little things that I was considering before a TR.  I won't do most of those, but having the list helps me remember things like a new Silver Flame trinket, etc.

Crazy excessive, but I appreciate it.  Whenever I TR, I have an ONOES moment where I wish I would have completed something before pushing the button.  Nothing big, but things like pendant of time are helpful.  Thanks for the post, pope!  I will definitely be reviewing the next time I TR.

I forgot to get my silver flame cookie, and move a bunch of stuff into my back pack.  I had it moved, but put it bank in the bank so I could ToD real quick.

Annoyed, I was.

My last TR checklist consisted of this conversation:

Me - When you TR'g that character?
Jaxx - I can TR now.
Me - Ok I will TR Dreamler.

15 mins later Dreamler and Bojax were beating the crap outta stuff in Korthos.

That's what happened for Fletch and Quickity, I'm actually gonna stock up for Murder or Target though.

Yeah. When I TR'd Tyanessa, I went fairly simple:
(2) LitII Khops
MinII helm
Boots of Anchoring
Madstone Boots

Jeebus...That's a helluva post.

Good advice, but way more in-depth than most people even give a damn about. Although, a condensed version called "Shit you might want to remember" could be useful. There are always an item or two that I run across 3 levels after I could have really used it on a TR.

You should *really* add the Terror Greatsword to the “Extremely useful, situationally critical, high end and rare gear:” category.

I have seen 2 Terror wielding barbarians tear apart the Vale on Elite with no healer.  (Or, more appropriately, until i joined on my cleric and caught up with them at the end fight in Ritual Sacrifice. Shocked)

On a sorta-kinda-semi-unrelated note, as a caster getting ready to do my melee lives (starting with monk), which would be the best generic GS HP slot? I'm thinking cloak, triple earth.
Something I can use on successive lives, since I don't plan on spending much time in epics, just enough to grind tokens.

Cloak is good. Earth is good. You might consider air for haste though.
