I kinda want to make a pure spellsinger for my alt account (seems more useful for dualboxing than WC) but it seems kinda like a pain to level unless I'm piking it the whole time while I level my arcane.

I'd probably do WC if it was a real character, DPS WCs seem better than SSs in the tougher endgame content.

My side project is a pure spellsinger with plans to be serviceable as a primary healer.  She's only 7th level right now, but I find the leveling has been pretty smooth.  Of course, I generally PUG.  Being able to function as a healer means either I pike (if it's a good group), or I actually play but don't spend 20 minutes on the LFM hoping for a healer to save us.  The worst times are when my gimpy drow spellsinger has twice as many kills as the rest of the group put together, and I also healed them through the quest.  That makes me shake my head.

My current spellsinger was pure on her first life, and in later levels it was a slog. Mostly because I don't pug much and there were no guildies in range with me. Luckily she was first life so it went pretty quickly.

True, I'm not sure I would TR a pure spellsinger.  But I am a slow leveler.  I think "soloing" higher level quests actually might work OK with a hireling barbarian or fighter.  I'm sure I'll try it when I get there.

I TR'd her to be more useful in epics. She can do epic traps as well as spell singer stuff, so it's a party slot consolidation that's handy. Her dps kinda meh compared to my WF WC, but it's something.

16/2/2 Spellsinger with rogue skills?

This is a build I enjoy immensely so far.  She's a contributor, back up healer, buffer, trap getter, social skills coordinator.

Lot of busy work with that toon though, so hard to find time to melee except in boss fights.  And, it's the only way I personally could tolerate running a SS.  The defenses on pure ones are terribad.

i really like my pure warchanter bard, something like 18 base str 16 con 12 charisma horc or something like that. i built it before helves got good though, in hindsight honestly dwarf would have been a better choice (before it got geared main issues were to-hit, hitpoints, and saves- dorf is good in all 3 categories)

If thf, it's pretty close between HElf/HOrc damage wise.

For saves on HElf, go pally Dilly.

For to-hit/dmg, pick up HV4.

Uff Da. That's a lot of AP.

Although I guess for 5 +5's per rest, it *might* be worth the 10 AP.
