There's a really awesome post that Flint made on the Loreseekers forums about the gear that everyone should be expected to have regardless of class (i.e. cure pots, curse pots, lesser resto pots, heavy fort at x level, mod fort for WF at level y, etc.).  I think that would probably be more helpful than just running them through some quests.  If they don't understand what's going to be expected of them when they get into other groups where they're not getting their hand held, it's going to be a giant waste of time.

Pish, posh...  Turbine says all you need at Level 16 is Light Fortification.

I just got that impression after you spent 13 pages calling out eladiun for being an interwebs bully when anyone who's been posting on here already knew that.  I mean, he's proud of it and hardly tries to hide that at all.

Gawna made her character on Sarlona and promptly forgor we existed.

Oopsie!  I TR'd my caster on Khyber, so I've been working on her and then played GW2 beta this weekend.  I should be on this week, though!

My TR is 7, Gawna is too slow.

Yes, I understand they will need conversations about gear, etc. I figured that would be included. Though, I might just tell them all the stuff they need and that Gawna loves helping new people farm for that stuff.

/tell Gawna farm challenges?
/tell Gawna farm runes plox
/tell Gawna I need 3 more coal chambers
/tell Gawna IQ for iouns pls
/tell Gawna why arent you answering
/tell Gawna did I do something wrong?

Yohgi is 16, but woefully undergeared.  I could use:
Taps for a minos
Garments of Equilibrium
+6 Str gloves,
+6 con necklace
GFL Belt
+6 Dex Ring
+6 Wis Ring
Striders

Farm for Jidz myself I guess... so actually the level 16 Frozen Tunic would be better, or maybe even Icy's if someone is willing to do runs down there with me.

If anyone is feeling generous, otherwise I'll just keep pluggin' away Smiley

And any wraps would be cool... stunners since I'm a white hoodie monk.

That's not such a terrible insult. If your ass was huge, than it would be a real dig at your navigational skills.

Now there's something you don't get on Sarlona!

I have stacks of pots waiting for you to help you on your way to 8, then I'm sure I'll be able to hook you up as well.

We clearly need to bring the anal to Sarlona.

I sent a bunch of stuff to Yohgi last night.  Taps, tomes, Str and Con items and I think a resistance cloak.  I also attached plat to some of them, so make sure you get it before deleting.  Kiss

Got it!  I also got into a PoP/Crucible pug last night with Nancy and she gave me more stuff!  Very cool of both of you!  Now I can no longer blame my gear for how bad I am...

I died in the swim in Crucible... on my monk.  So embarrassed.  I blame the wizzie that gave me displacement, though.  When I was swimming backwards to see where I was going and a wall was behind me the camera zoomed in so I could only see the displacement glow and nothing else.  I had no clue where I was half the time in it.  Cheesy

Oh also, I sent mayo back her +2 con tome... I've gone ahead and eaten a +2 supreme from the store.

I'll mail some stuff to Gawnapunch on Sarlona.  Log back in!

There was a nice collection of soulstones. "I promise I won't die." Ding.

I didn't get into my mule account but I think I've got some stunners, and probably a junk prefix smiter if you want.

Heheh.  That was funny indeed.  I would never make that kinda promise about the swim on elite.  I've only done it a handful of times, though.

I'd happily relieve you of those wraps to make some inventory space for you, if you like!
