What the fuck are you doing with yours if you've rolled one?

I have rolled one human strength and con based, with the idea of primarily being melee for now. In retrospect I wish I had gone helf with rogue dilly in order to boost sneak attack, since wolf form has some sneak boosts. I have a couple extra character slots still so I might roll one still to compare.

Anyone working on a casting based build?

I was on Lam but I have too many projects on live at the moment to even look at Druid.  I have a baby sorc that I'll power level and TR to a max wisdom druid eventually. 

I think they'll make great tank healers with those HoTs though.

Here's what I've thrown together for a 36 point leveling build for a Druid PL.

Horc 1Wiz/1Ftr/16Druid TN
6, +3 Tomes Used
Starting Stats
Str: 16 +5 Level Ups
Dex: 14
Con: 15
Wis: 16
Int: 10
Cha: 6

Start Druid 1-2, Toughness
Wiz 3rd Quicken, TWF
Druid 4-6 Maximise
Fighter 7 PA
Druid 8-
Druid 9 Khopesh
Druid 12 ITWF
Druid 15 GTWF
Druid 18 OTWF/Empower Or Whatever

Not Ideal, Not Endgame but will have good melee dps making use of gear I've collected bolstered by self-healing and elemental dps.  Level-ups in strength so spell DC won't be maxed but will OK situationally.  Some good 5min wiz buffs.  Skills Concentration, Balance, UMD or w/e.

on my one multi-tr I'll probably be doing 2 arti/18 druid or something like that...maybe less druid if the caster-based first life I'm running now is sub-par.


Only at 5th level so I can't say whether or not the high wis casting approach is going to be useful, but that's the direction I'm taking it. At very low level vigor is a useful healing spell, not sure if that scales up very well or not.

What does Arty bring to the table?
Trap skills, UMD, a handful of spell points, and a useless mecha-puppy.  Runearms are next to useless with only two levels, and if you want the passive effects they're still out because equipping one will break your oath.  The spell points are so few that they are moot.  That leaves trap skills and UMD.
If you want both of those for two levels, Rogue comes with evasion.  I see absolutely zero reason to waste two levels on Arty.

Changed up a little since I realized I can live without Maximise and the Extra Meta From Wiz AND now that level 1 Clicky Spells Last 5 min its kind pointless ...

Currently
Horc 6 TN Horc Druid

I *might* take 1 level of Fighter.  But really am not seeing the need at this point but am only at 6 atm.

Am using the spiffy Q-Staffs I recently crafted...

You know the New ones with the finest Corinthian Leather?

At 12 I'll swap from Q-Staff to TWF and GS Lit2 and ConcOp Khopeshes

For leveling Melee DPS is so fucking easy to sustain on a self-healing self-buffing class. 

I went with Max Int/Con in my last life as WF conjuration AM...I've played a few wizards but even though I like the class I fucking HATE playing one.

I would've enjoyed my wizard life much more if I had build for melee and ONLY went at the most 12 Levels of Wiz for PL.
