Chestapalooza, AH...

Also, some of us are just fucking amazing players and save every pot we get until new content comes out.  Then when we master we no longer require pots to Crush It.  Which starts the trend of saving pots once again.

Haha, Shaatan's post is awesome.

The concept of "world firsts" in DDO is laughable.  DDO content is designed to be beaten day 1, unlike World of Warcraft, Everquest and any asian MMO where you slam your dick in a car door wiping on bosses for weeks while you learn the intricacies of the encounter.

Personally, I enjoy these types of Raids. Not the dick slamming part. Not really into that type of thing.

I remember when my raid group in swtor was first learning karaggas palace when it first launched.  The droid was the only rough part - that little fucker and his explosive dart.

He still sucks in pickup ops on Drogas Pleasure barge for HM.  You still get the fucking noob dps that sits there with the fucking missile and then watches everyone fly away, time after time.

Ventani, Emperor, Vishimtar, The Rathe, Dozekar 1.0, Vyemm....ahhh, the good old days.  Vulak was a loot pinata though.

Rathe was a deliberately overtuned cockblock because Plane of Time wasn't done.  After fighting through NTOV, Vulak 1.0 was a huge disappointment.  I think we did Vulak 2.0 once, and decided the  "new and improved" ring event wasn't worth farming.

That event sucked.  Ooo, Coldain Ring event was so damn fun.  'Fuck, giants, fuck more giants, FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU'

The 'new' Sleeper's Tomb was nice, Kildrukaun was a nice replacement for Ventani.

I didn't mind the Coldain ring event, though I only participated twice.  Never fought the Sleeper replacement.  Before key rings were introduced, that was the most fucked up setup for any keyed instance ever.  Having to create corpses so you could recover your key in case you wiped belongs in the MMO WTF Hall of Fame.

Ventani was the '4th Warder' that Conquest got banned for beating lol.

You seem to forget that in EQ your corpse rotted if you couldn't recover it within 24 hours logged in time, and 7 days regardless =D.  Howling Stones was the same, as was hell, even Befallen, a level 7 zone lol.  Fear CR's, Plane of Hate (Epoch musta been from there, he does remind me of Innoruuk...) if you sucked in EQ you had a very real chance of losing everything, even if you just had a bad night or a bad pull the chance was small, but there.

I vaguely remember Conquest's shenanigans with the warder...only because it was a minor shitstorm on the FOH forums.

Believe me, I will never forget the fucked up corpse mechanics in EQ as long as I live.  As a rogue I lost count of how many times I had to send a tell to people to /consent.  We had very few active necromancers for corpse summoning (not many people wanted to play mana batteries on Drinal).  I honestly don't remember if corpse summoning even worked in Sleeper's Tomb. Keeping a spare set of gimp gear in the bank for PoF wipes isn't something I miss either.

My main was a necro.  In fact, catching me play much else was short of miraculous.
