Yeah I had noticed that seals/shards were not dropping as much but I wasn't sure if it was just me. Figures seals and shards is the only pieces I need.

I've honestly never set a foot in any of the house C content so I can't speak to how it is. I took a break right after it dropped and came back a few months ago and it just seems like it isn't worth doing? Or just no one wants to run it anymore.

I think the biggest gripe is everyone seems to think EE should be exactly how old epics were. But they aren't accounting for how much better our toons are now with another 5 levels, epic feats and epic destinies. And all the other shit I'm just neglecting to mention.

In House of Broken Chains, there is a lever named "Lever - Disable Traps"
I wondered what that meant... now I know... just pre-production build code/text that they didn't have time to remove.

You mean like the multiple DNT TBD references all over the expansion pack?

Dear devs: If you don't know how to grep and replace, it's time to find another line of work.  These low hanging warts should have been completely squashed during beta.  It's embarrassing to see them in production.

Y'know, the funniest bit about that? Drag the active clickie for disable onto your bar. "you cannot disable blah de blah".  Grin

Hey! Barbarians are useful! They give you 10 hp per life.

10 hp isn't worth 4.378 mil xp.

God, you're right about that. It wasn't even worth however much I had to earn after using a stone of xp that life. Still, I had to suffer, I want to try to make others suffer.

I did a barb life.  It practically killed my desire for completionist.  On the bright side, I can laugh at melee at level one on my wizard and sorc as I have more hp then they do.

30hp is totally worth 13m xp

nothing beats having a level 1 monk on korthos with 50hp more than a barb, followed by him actually re rolling upon your advice.

that said, the 3 barb lives drove me to skyrim, diablo 3, creating a w/f sorc.

A guide to barb lives:

1. Make a friend (this can be the hard part for some Tongue)
2. Convince your friend to play a fvs.
3. CRUSH IT until level 12.
4. Pike while your friend blitzes the rest of the game.
5. Repeat as necessary.

Follow this method, and you'll have +30 hp on all your toons in no time. Cheesy

Splash hard.  My barb lives were either 9/9/2 or 7/6/7, invariably with every barb level but the first being taken at the end.

Monk, Fighter, Arti and Rogue are all winners.

Edit:  I lied about Monk and Barb compatibility.

A barb incarnation is still more fun than a paladin incarnation.

If you splash enough levels of monk (9), paladin is a lot easier than barb, especially if you already have the handwraps.
Silver flame pots are the key to an enjoyable barb life, or enough umd for heal scrolls.

Unfortunate you can't mix monk and barb - Druid/barb mix might be interesting though. I get a feeling Druid might be an interesting splash choice for some healing abilities.

Funny, the green dragon climbed right up there and tol' us on epic elite.  Then managed to get down a couple minutes later and we were back up behind the tree for the remainder of that plink-fest.
It probably had something to do with the retarded WF barbarian that would run up to it whenever his uncanny dodge was off timer.  Some people just aren't content to go afk for 10 minutes with autoattack on.

My question is, is why are they taking the servers down for 10 hours tonight? Aren't they usually only down for 4-5 hours?

From what I skimmed, it is a Turbine wide thing, like they are rebuilding their servers from scratch or something?

Yeah, and Lotro, and Asheron's Call, and turbine.com, and anything else they might have on their main servers. That's kind of what I meant when I said Turbine wide.

Did release notes get updated from the OP? Was hoping to see the proficiency bonus for ranged weapons added in to this patch, was pretty devastated that I've gone this life as an archer with -20% to hit (though hit % is good anyway so not sure how much better it will get).

This.

I am doing barb lifes on several characters, taking 6 ranger levels, 7 rogue levels and 7 barb levels at cap.

Versatile, powerful and fun and easy to level.

With BtA crafting blanks I have crafted all the gear I need and can share between all my characters while doing TR's.

I win  Cool

I've been trying to figure out the circumstances that would require every server in an organization to go offline.

Virus or virii that just won't die?
Disaster Recovery drill?
Internal IP subnet or network hardware infrastructure change?
Massive computing hardware overhaul?
Relocation of equipment?
