Twinking a Paladin to level 15-19

Hey Guys,

I have no idea playing melees, my main is a cleric.  Hope you can help me figure out what weapons that I can use.

1. GS weapons is out of the question since I am only using the past life paladin and will be a caster all through out (wiz / sorc)
2.  Kinda high crafting levels. Over 100, less than 150 on all schools.
3.  Can also craft from cannith challenges.  Elemental gAxe of Fire?
4.  Is Insanity any good?
5. Should I just use holy sword spell?

Or is there any named item that I missed out? 

This is an unprepared TRed paladin, on a second life.  My fault not being prepared for the melee TR.

Paladin sucks for weaponage for quick killing.  I would have said just get to 18 as soon as you can and get a Terror, but that won't be very good any more.

Just gonna be a slow, slug-fest through everything.

My advice is to find a palemaster to run behind for those levels.

You could have used all tier III greensteel weaponry and it still would have been fucking painful.

Hopefully paladins will see +1W per tier tacked onto Exalted Smite and Divine Sacrifice.

If I didn't already hate trs, I would have done 3 pally lives on my main. Unfortunately, I value my sanity, my eyeballs, and my laptop, because all of them would be broken, ruined, stabbed, or all three before the first one was over.

You'd do best to find a running partner.  You are at the level range where paladins get left behind.  What server are you on?

I wanted Insanity to be good, but I just wasn't happy with it.
Holy Sword is a definite option in these levels.  Too bad Falchions aren't available as a component.

While using an HS, I'd recommend keeping an eye on the AH to see if a decent lootgen comes available.

Consider making a triple pos GS falchion for this life, and use it for the clicky on your caster lives.

I am on Cannith. I am running duo with my friend, also a pally.

It was a wrong plan to be honest.  We are running to level 20 so that we can TR again to level 8 and use the stone before the deadline.

I'm on Khyber sadly, so I can't offer to help with Halfdeadd.

See if you two can find a friendly arcane in a hurry to cap.  Gets a little boring; grabbing aggro and having them kill most of it in one or two shots, but it works.
