Why make a distinction between spending TP to buy Druid in August, or spending direct $ to buy it now?

By releasing it for cash only, instead of TP in game, it encourages those who didn't get Druid's as a pre-order to spend additional money now and increase this month's net sales. Turbine doesn't see any sales increase if you buy it with points you've been saving (well at least until the next time you need points) in your account next month. Complete guess, but I'd image they keep track of the average amount of points "sitting" in accounts. By offering for cash only they are encouraging players to spend additional money now for immediate gratification, instead of using TP they have saved in August.
